Florist arranging a bouquet on a wooden workbench
Our Story

Both wings. 10 years. One shop.

From Sinton to Victoria to the Oval Office. How Adrian and Aaron built The Petal Express, one arrangement at a time.

Hello, friend.

Most florists sell flowers. We send a feeling.

The Petal Express started in 2015 in Sinton, Texas with a single workbench and a stubborn belief: that every bouquet, every gift, every centerpiece deserves to be made by hand — not pulled from a bucket and tied with a ribbon five minutes before the courier arrives.

Ten years later we reopened in Victoria, expanded into boutique gifts, designed weddings across South Texas, and answered two surprise calls from Washington. The work has scaled. The bench hasn’t. Everything that leaves our shop is still tied by the same hands that opened the doors a decade ago.

This page is the long version of that story. The short version is on the homepage. The shortest version is on our cards: hand-tied, in Victoria, since 2015.

Heritage

Five moments that shaped the shop.

2015

Sinton, Texas. One workbench.

Adrian and Aaron opened the first shop on a quiet block in Sinton with a borrowed cooler, a leased van, and a phone that mostly rang on Fridays. The first wedding came in week six.

2019

The West Wing. The Oval Office.

Selected to decorate The White House for Christmas, representing the State of Texas. Eight days in the West Wing — including the Oval Office — a thousand stems, and a new understanding of what this shop was capable of.

2022

Miss America. There she is.

Adrian and The Petal Express created hand-tied bouquets for Miss America, bringing their signature floral style to one of the country’s most recognizable stages.

2024

Victoria. A bigger room.

The shop reopened on Main Street in Victoria with a proper storefront, a boutique floor, and an events studio in the back. The first walk-in came before we’d hung the sign.

2024

The East Wing. The Vermeil Room.

Invited back to The White House for Christmas — this time the East Wing, including the Vermeil Room, the historic room of the First Ladies, and broader decorating across the residence. Another thousand stems. [Aaron — add any additional rooms or moments here before Markup.]

The people

Adrian handles the stems. Aaron handles the room.

Adrian is the florist. Trained, hands-deep in the cooler before the shop opens, the kind of designer who can tell you the difference between Italian ruscus and Israeli ruscus at fifteen feet. He built every arrangement in our collection — and the ones that went up in the Oval Office and the Vermeil Room.

Aaron runs the front of house and the events calendar — he’s the one who picks up the phone at 6 AM when a bride’s mother needs to add a sweetheart table, and the one who walks you through the boutique on a Saturday afternoon and somehow knows which candle you came in for.

Together they are the shop. Everything you order on this site passes through one or both of them before it goes out the door.

Twice.

In 2019, Adrian and Aaron were selected to decorate The White House for Christmas, representing the State of Texas — the West Wing, including the Oval Office.

In 2024, they were invited back for the East Wing, including the Vermeil Room — the historic room of the First Ladies — and broader decorating across the residence.

Each visit meant eight days on site with a crew of volunteers, a federal supply chain of fresh-cut blooms, and one quiet directive: make it feel like home.

We don’t talk about it much in the shop. But when someone in Victoria asks why their arrangement looks the way it does, this is the long answer.

What we promise

Three things we don’t compromise on.

i.

Personally Designed.

Every arrangement is built in our shop by a human. No assembly line, no pre-made bouquets in a cooler.

ii.

Built the morning of.

Conditioned overnight, arranged the day your delivery goes out. The way a florist used to do it.

iii.

From people you know.

Adrian builds your bouquet. Aaron answers the phone. If something’s wrong, you talk to us, not a call center.

Come see us.

The bench is the same.
So are we.

104 Broadmoor St. Suite 600, Victoria, TX 77904 . Walk-ins welcome Monday through Saturday. Same people, same care, every time.
